The Maine Pea Pod

Peapods are a well-known Maine rowing and sailing craft. Their stable design allows lobstermen to stand while rowing and see over the edge of the boat when close to ledges. It also lets lobstermen lean the boat deep to the side and rock it to help pull up heavy traps. Peapods are particularly nice to row, and they certainly are pretty! The traditional Peapod is often symmetrical fore and aft – the bow is the same as the stern. This model is shown with no trim details.
